Product Description
The Minerva offers an ergonomically built, hermetically sealed enclosure for use when total containment and protection is required and necessary. It is a completely closed and aerosol tight safety cabinet and the operator is separated from the work by a physical barrier i.e. gloves attached to the front of the microbiological safety cabinet, and a safety air-lock transfer hatch is located on the side of the chamber of the safety cabinet.
How does it work?
The Minerva cabinet is a recirculating cabinet with a turbulence-free (laminar) vertical displacement flow of clean air in the work chamber. During normal operation the front window closed airtight and the glove ports are mounted with suitable gloves. Inflow air as well as exhaust air is HEPA filtered and the whole system prevents the escape of particles from the inside of the work chamber thus protecting the operator and the environment.
