Active Carbon Filters

Activated carbon filters specially designed for filtering fumes in laboratories have absorption properties. The filter has special pipe fittings that optimize air distribution and reduce pressure losses. Made of acid-resistant PVC and resistant to chemicals. With its system that protects activated carbon from dust, its performance and durability are high.

Product Description

Data to consider when choosing a filter:

  • Airflow to be treated
  • Composition and concentration of the air to be treated
  • Required performance.
  • Maximum temperature 60°
  • Relative humidity lower than 70 %

Causes that reduce Carbon performance:

  • TEMPERATURE reduces the carbon adsorption capacity. The lower the temperature, the higher the Carbon adsorption capacity.
  • HUMIDITY has a negative influence on the carbon adsorption capacity since it can withstand a maximum relative humidity equal to 70%.
  • DUST is another enemy of carbon because it blocks its pores and the spaces between the different cylinders consequently reducing performance and increasing pressure losses.
